Welcome to Layla Faye

Layla Faye is an English brand established in 2012. Our designs start life as hand drawn patterns evolving into a bright, vibrant range of uplifting designs. Our initial designs were snapped up under license for a large wallpaper retailer and many collections have followed with a continued ethos to create fresh ranges that have a playful sixties liberated spirit. A touch of bohemian femininity is intertwined with bold bright prints offering a refreshing twist on modern design.

A family run business with two children at its heart. The Layla Faye brand has expanded and grown, from a family table on maternity leave to our studio located close to the Helford River in Cornwall, where you can glimpse the sea from our gallery window. Cornish countryside walks provide Inspiration for our summery collections alongside a Cornish culture of artists, Barbara Hepworth and the bright designs of Patrick Heron, Sir Terry Frost and Sandra Blow.

Layla Fayes founder Verity Wilkinson grew up in a loving, creative household with a artist/potter dad and a mum who designed clothes for the family, alongside a grandma that made knitwear and baked delicious cakes. Pattern design was a love from an early age and Verity went on to study surface pattern design at college then University before working and travelling around the world living in quirky homes, experiencing exciting cultures always with a love of sixties design and music.

The Layla Faye brand is commited to English craftsmanship with our fabric woven and created into curtains, throws and cushions in Lancashire using recycled cotton as a preference. Our wallpaper is printed in the UK and is PEFC or FSC certified. Printed with water-based inks. We care about sustainability, protecting the future for people, the planet and business.
